Jacob de Hann

Jacob de Hann was born in Heerenveen, the Netherlands, in 1959. He grew up in a musically oriented environment. Through his piano lessons he was, at an early age, able to develop his creativity as a future composer. Following his senior education, Jacob de Haan completed his studies at the Conservatory in Leeuwarden, majoring in school music and organ, and minoring in trumpet and fanfare and wind band directing. Subsequently. he lectured in arranging at the same conservatory. Currently, Jacob mainly works as a composer and arranger.

At the same time, he is in great demand as a music editor for CD recordings with top bands at home and abroad. Additionaly also invited as a guest conductor and adjudicator.
