Absolutely gorgeous, the most beautiful piece - band gently supporting a lovel solo line. An ideal feature to a concert or as background music to a wedding celebration.

The piece was composed as a wedding present for Michael and his new wife Sumiko. It was their wish to create a musical link between Sumiko's Japanese roots and her Swiss homeland, and Su-Mi-Cha-El-Ko was born.

On 14 September 2023 the piece was premiered at the wedding ceremony, performed by the Brass Band Gurbetal, in which Michael and a large part of his family have played for many years.
