Darkwood was commissioned in 2012 by Neil Ashcroft a life long member of Blackley Brass Band and was presented to the band in recognition of their 75th Anniversary.

National Regionals 4th Section piece 2018. This work was commissioned in 2006 by Besses o’ th’ Barn Band to mark the centenary of its 1906 World Tour, the first ever by a brass band.

Lakeland Variations was commissioned by the Seeländer Jugend Brass Band to celebrate their 20th Jubilee course, which took place in the summer of 2022. The premiere was conducted by Michael Bach.
