Commissioned by BBC Radio 2 for the Black Dyke Band as part of the Bradford City of Culture Celebrations 2025

References three spirituals: Joshua Fit the Battle of Jerico, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and Evr'y Time I Feel the Spirit, a genre popularized by Fisk Jubilee Singers. The group, comprising freed slaves from Fisk University in Nashville USA, made multiple appearances at St Georges Hall Bradford in the late 19th Century and did much to break down racial barriers.
