In Newcastle Quayside, a reflective iteration of the main motive reflects on the sleek curves of Millenium Bridge, before an Allegro symbolising the activity of Newcastle city centre.
The soloistic textures of Sycamore Gap refer to the isolation of the single tree on Hadrian's Wall, before the introduction of a tutti melody accompanied by big chords similar to those os Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov (Coronation Scene), representing the stark mystery of the scene.
