The soloistic textures of Sycamore Gap refer to the isolation of the single tree on Hadrian's Wall, before the introduction of a tutti melody accompanied by big chords similar to those os Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov (Coronation Scene), representing the stark mystery of the scene.
